Experimental Features
Overview
Get early access to new features before they’re released to everyone. These features are fully functional but still being refined based on user feedback before transitioning to general availability.
Experimental features can include:
- New model capabilities — early versions of lip sync models with improved accuracy, new language support, or expanded input formats.
- Studio UI improvements — redesigned workflows, new editing tools, or updated preview experiences in Sync Studio.
- API enhancements — new endpoints, additional request parameters, or response fields that are being validated before general release.
Enable Experimental Features
Toggle Experimental Features
Under the Experimental Features section, toggle the switch to enable access to experimental features and early previews.
Start Using New Features
Once enabled, experimental features will appear throughout the Sync Studio with a preview badge.
What “Experimental” Means
Experimental features are fully functional — you can use them in real workflows right now. However, they are still being refined before they move to general availability. Here is what to expect:
- Behavior may change. Parameters, defaults, or outputs may be adjusted based on feedback and testing. Breaking changes are possible before GA.
- Not covered by SLA. Experimental features are provided as-is and are not included in uptime or support guarantees.
- Feedback-driven. The team actively monitors usage and feedback to decide what ships, what changes, and what gets removed.
Once an experimental feature graduates to general availability, it becomes stable and follows the same versioning guarantees as the rest of the API.
Current Experimental Features
Experimental features rotate as new capabilities are developed and existing ones graduate to GA. Check the Sync Studio with experimental features enabled to see what is currently available — look for the preview badge.
Feedback
Your input directly shapes which features ship and how they evolve. The team reviews every piece of feedback to prioritize improvements, fix issues, and decide which experimental features graduate to general availability. Found a bug or have suggestions?
